Your distiller does the heavy lifting. This post-distillation filter delivers the finishing touch by removing any remaining sediment and trace impurities after distillation, so what reaches your glass is as clean and fresh-tasting as water can be.
Works with Durastill, Pure Water, and Other Universal Applications.
Distillation removes the vast majority of contaminants from your water but the journey from distiller to storage isn't always perfectly clean. Sometime source water can have so much VOCs that your distiller’s VOC vent can be overwhelmed. The K2340-BB post-filter is the final safeguard between your distiller and your water supply.
Installed between the distiller and the storage tank, this dual-action filter combines 5-micron sediment reduction with a coconut shell granular activated carbon (GAC) stage. The carbon stage is key: coconut shell carbon is widely regarded as one of the most effective natural filtration media available, excelling at removing chlorine byproducts, trace organics, and anything that might affect taste or odor. The result is water that doesn't just test pure, it tastes pure.
Compatible with the Durastill, Pure Water, and other automatic water distillation systems, it pairs perfectly with the K2305-BB pre-filter to give your system complete end-to-end protection.
Why it matters:
• Post-distillation polishing catches VOCs that slips through the distillation stage
• Coconut shell GAC media is a premium natural carbon source that excels at taste and odor improvement
• Dual-action filtration contains activated carbon in a single inline unit
• NSF/ANSI 42 certified means this filter is independently tested and verified
• Simple FPT threaded installation fits inline with no special tools
